What's your favorite tool or technique to elicit busines requirements that creates deliverables that are valuable yet reusable? I have to admit, I fell in love (again) with Business Use Case (BUC) models when I transitioned from Business Analyst to Business Architect. Some of you may remember Frank Sinatra swooning in "Second Time Around": Love is lovelier / The second time around / Just as wonderful / With both feet on the ground. With both of my feet firmly grounded now on helping decision-makers make insightful judgment calls & manage risks on how to better serve customers/clients/citizens, a BUC model is my best friend again.

Well, Fly me to the moon!! Currently, my business colleagues understand and value system use cases/models. They haven't been provided with sufficient delineation between System and Business Use Cases and are wont to discontinue the use of BUC. Your article, and the one linked to it, provide me additional information to present on the lifetime value of the BUC model and its effects on agility and project completion within a given SDLC.
Thanks!
